Amusing characters for the bottom of your tank.  They like company and do not settle well alone, so do not order one or two unless you already have some for these to mix with.

This picture is Charley Farley, one of our adult breeding stock.   We ship un-sexed young fish about 1″+ that may not yet have fully developed their adult colors.  They will grow up to 2.5″ (males) or 3.5″ (females).  These fish do not settle as single fish.  We will ship single fish to buyers who already have some others of this variety.

CoryDora Catfish are amusing to watch and friendly to most common tank mates.   They are easy to keep but need ideal conditions to breed.   Ours live contentedly with guppies, Golden Mystery Snails and Nerite Snails.   They are bottom feeders but will eat almost any regular tropical fish food.   They really like shrimp pellets.   They don’t settle well with aggressive species.  Ideal temperature about 77-78F.

Contented breeding pairs will lay eggs every three or four weeks.   If you have a breeding pair and don’t want the young, just leave the eggs in the tank and the adults will gobble them up over a few days.   If you have mixed sex Catfish from us, it may not be wise to breed from them as they may be brother and sister.

A fixed handling, packing and shipping charge of $12.50 ($13.50 November – March) is added to orders totaling less than $65 (before tax).
